Aaron E. Eckhart was born on March 12th 1968 in Santa Clara County, California.
Together with his two brothers he was raised in Cupertino (USA), England (UK) and Sydney (Australia) by his parents, a computer executive and a children's book author. After high school he took three years off to surf in Hawaii and ski in France. In the 1990'ies Aaron was enrolled as a film major at Brightam Young University, graduating in 1994.
In 1998 Aaron was engaged to actress Emily Cline, but separated from her in 1998.
Considered as a "handsome blonde performer capable of transforming himself as the role requires", he gave his film debut in "Slaughter of the Innocents" (1994) and was later staring in college classmate Neil LaBute's "Company of Men", playing businessman Chad. After playing George in "Erin Brockovich" in 2000 Aaron bought a motorcycle after learning to ride one for the movie.
He's done a couple of first class movies, for example "Nurse Betty" (with Rene� Zellweger + Morgan Freeman), "Possession" (with Gwyneth Paltrow) and was playing main character Dr. Joshua Keyes in this year's "The Core".
